Africans featured on the cover of TIME Magazine.

Whilst most of TIME Magazine’s covers dedicated to Africa are about famine, famine and more famine, there are a select few that feature influential Africans - most, if not all, are of men.

Also interesting is that, if you click the links, all the representations of “famine” are marked with images of women. Interesting display of the feminization Of poverty and the masculinization of power…
